All I Have is Green Card Can I Travel to the Bahamas on a Closed Loop Cruise?

going on a Royal Carribean Cruise leaves from miami then to the bahamas then back to Miami. I don't have a passport of any kind just a perminate resident card and state ID will this be enough to get on and off the cruise. And do those documents get checked every time you port

Doesnt matter where your from or what ship you go on you NEED A PASSPORT TO ENTER THE COMMONWEALTH OF THE BAHAMAS, AND THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. I have a green card to and im origanally from the bahamas and no matter if i take a boat or go by air , i need my green card and passport to travel to america and the bahamas.
